With some refreshing thoughts, especially coming from a politician, Barack Obama states that if elected he would look to reform predatory credit-card marketing and establish a "credit card bill of rights." This bill of rights would allow consumers to end an agreement if interest rates were raised mid term, and would also eliminate interest rates on transaction fees (how this is even allowed to exist in the first place is beyond me). Obama also mentions a plan to reform bankruptcy laws. Both initiatives look to ease the burden of debt that many Americans face.
