billQ OS X Dashboard Widget
For OS X Dashboard users, we've built a billQ widget allowing you to use billQ right from your desktop. You can view all of your upcoming bills, mark a bill as paid, or quickly add a new one-time bill right within the widget.
Once you install the widget, just enter your email address and password and you are on your way.
Installation:
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
How do I login?
To login, flip the widget over by clicking the "i" in the lower righthand corner. From there, enter your email address and password just like you would on the billQ website.
Why am I getting an error?
Did you enter the correct login information? Are you connected to the internet? If you are sure of both then send us an email and we can try to help solve your problem.
billQ AIR App for Windows or OS X
If you are a Windows user or you would rather not use the Dashboard Widget on OS X, you can download the billQ AIR App. This application has the same functionality as the Dashboard Widget, but will run separately.
This application does require Adobe AIR software. Instructions on how to install are below.
Installation Step 1:
Since the billQ AIR app requires that the Adobe AIR software is installed (the latest version, 1.0), you need to do that first. Just select your operating system below to download Adobe AIR. Once downloaded, open the file and follow the installation instructions.
Installation Step 2:
Once Adobe AIR is installed on your computer, you can download and install the billQ AIR app. Just download the file below, open it, and follow the installation instructions. Once installed, you can run billQ just like any other application on your computer.
